What is IELTS?
IELTS, which stands for International English Language Testing System, is a widely recognized English language proficiency test. Two Types of Tests
IELTS Academic: For people applying for higher education or professional registration in an English-speaking environment.
IELTS General Training For those looking to migrate to an English-speaking country (such as the UK, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand) or apply for secondary education, training programs, or work experience.
Four Skills Tested
- Listening: 30 minutes
- Reading: 60 minutes
- Writing: 60 minutes
- Speaking: 11–14 minutes
Scoring
