The IELTS exam fees in India is INR 17,000. The cost applies to both the IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training tests. Whether you choose IELTS on Paper or IELTS on Computer, the test fee remains the same at INR 17,000.

Cancellation Fee for IELTS Exam

1. IELTS on Paper Test:

• All applications for cancellation and refund must be sent to the Centre using the Transfer & Cancellation/Refund Application Form along with the original receipt of payment of the test fee.
   
• An administrative charge of Rs. 4,250, including all taxes, will be applicable.
   
• If the application for cancellation is received 9 days before the test date, the balance of IELTS test fees of Rs. 12,750 (inclusive of all taxes) will be refunded within 10–12 working days.
   
• Requests received less than 9 days before the test date will not be accepted, and no refund will be provided.

2. IELTS on Computer:

• All applications for cancellation and refund must be sent to the Centre using the Transfer & Cancellation/Refund Application Form along with the original receipt of payment of the test fee.
   
• An administrative charge of Rs. 4,300, including all taxes, will be applicable.
   
• If the application for cancellation is received 9 days before the test date, the balance of IELTS test fees of Rs. 12,900 (inclusive of all taxes) will be refunded within 10–12 working days.
   
• Requests received less than 9 days before the test date will not be accepted, and no refund will be provided.

IELTS Exam Fee for Additional Test Report Form (ATRF)

• Up to the first five electronic ATRF reports can be submitted free of charge.
   
• If you need to send scores to more than five universities, an administrative fee of ₹250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) per university will apply.
   
• There is a daily limit of five universities for ATRFs. Additional institutions can be added after 24 hours through the candidate login.

Payment Methods for IELTS Exam Fee in India

The IELTS test fee can be paid using the following methods:

1. Credit/Debit Card (Visa or Master) and Netbanking.
    
2. Demand Draft: Ensure it is drawn in favour of "IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi" and made from approved banks listed in the Terms & Conditions.
    
3. Bank Deposit: Cash deposits can be made at ICICI/HDFC bank branches through a customised deposit slip available on the IELTS IDP India website or at IELTS IDP branch offices/referral partners. Attach the original customer deposit slip to the IELTS application form.
